Pastor Doug Partin began serving with the Christian Church of Los Alamos in January of 1998. Pastor Doug graduated from Dallas Christian College in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts in Bible (Pastoral Ministries/Biblical Languages), Emmanuel Christian Seminary in 1988 with a Master of Divinity and also in 1996 with a Doctor of Ministry. He served with congregations in Johnson City, TN; Lubbock, TX; and Artesia, NM before coming to Los Alamos. Pastor Doug's ministry is focused on leading through preaching, teaching, shepherding, and counseling.

Associate Pastor of Children and Youth: Steve Bublitz began serving with the Christian Church of Los Alamos in July 2016. Pastor Steve graduated from Virginia Tech in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1989 with a Master of Arts in Religious Education with multi-media emphasis. He has served with congregations in Hattiesburg, MS and Los Alamos, NM before joining the Christian Church. Pastor Steve’s ministry is focused on leading through teaching, mentoring, counseling and shepherding.

Secretary Gretchen Kierstead began serving the Christian Church of Los Alamos in 2002. As secretary, Gretchen is focused on keeping our congregation in touch, the books balanced, and our pastors well supported.


The Elders of the Christian Church are focused on shepherding the members of this congregation. There are times when a need escapes their notice, so if you are in need or know of someone in need, please contact them. They love you and are here to serve you. Our Elders are: Steve Bublitz, Rick Hinckley, Michael Irish, Bob Nolen, Doug Partin, Daren Savage, and Dennis Wilhoit.

Deacons and Ministry Area Coordinators

The Deacons and Ministry Area Coordinators (MACs) are focused on serving the members of this congregation under the Elder's direction. While MACs are deacons focused on leading a particular ministry, our other Deacons are dedicated to serving where ever there is a need. We are grateful that God has blessed us with so many faithful servants
